Licensing criteria for the Creator Plan

In this page, you will find the licensing criteria for using SOUNDRAW while under the Creator Plan. Please read below for more detailed information!

1. When using SOUNDRAW music in a video:

OK

When the song is used only as background music in a video posted to the following medium:

• YouTube and Social Media
• TV
• Cinema
• Internet Ads
• Corporate Videos
• Livestreaming
• Vtube
• Vlog

Forbidden

In cases where the music is not used only to support the video, and is the main content being promoted. 

Examples: 

• Meditation videos 
• Lofi Girl style channels, where the non-audio content are just animations that don't change or barely change at all
• Videos that only contain still images, where the audio content is clearly the main point of interest to the video

The examples above are not considered video creations, and are treated by us as “audio creations”, therefore forbidden under the Creator Plan. 

2. When using SOUNDRAW music with another kind of audio content:

OK

When the song is used together with audio content from sources such as the ones below:

• Radio Broadcasts
• Podcasts
• Guided Meditations 

 

3. When using SOUNDRAW music in games, and others: 

OK

When the song is used as background music in the following: 

• Games (for rhythm or music based games, please contact our customer support for more details)
• Apps
• Store BGM
• Events

 

Forbidden

Selling or transferring the downloaded songs to a third party (such as acquaintances, friends, clients, etc.)

Important information 📢

If you want to use SOUNDRAW music on its own, you can now sign up for our newly released Artist Plan! It allows you to add your own vocals and instruments to the songs you downloaded with SOUNDRAW and distribute them as your own songs! This allows you to do the following:

• Distribute the songs on music streaming services (such as Spotify)
• Sell the songs on platforms such as Apple Music (or even in CD format)
• Sell the songs as an NFT (with content that is owned by you)
